What We are Looking For
Marketing Internship
Brandsymbol's Marketing Department is looking to bring on a Content Marketing Intern to assist with various copy-writing projects including writing blogs, LinkedIn posts, and press releases. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable and confident copywriter who can both generate their own copy through research and creative thinking, as well as write about specific, assigned subjects.
Interns will work alongside executive leadership with decades of branding experience and be directly supervised by the senior marketing team. There will be opportunities abound to learn about the complex world or branding in both the B2B/B2C space as well as pharmaceutical and healthcare space.
From trademark litigation to pharmaceutical name regulatory approval to in-depth creative knowledge, Content Marketing Interns will interview and learn from industry veterans, applying that newfound knowledge by turning it into content for brandsymbol blog posts, email marketing campaigns, and other marketing and collateral efforts.
Job Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and report on marketing and branding campaigns to meet Company objectives, ensuring revenue and lead generation

Ensure Brand messages are consistent and adhere to the Company Brand Guidelines

Lead all areas of content generation and outreach across all media platforms (e.g., blog, email marketing)

Manage and update the Company website

Utilize SEO to discover new opportunities

Develop and format internal Company presentations (e.g., kick-off meetings, training)

Analyze, benchmark, and continuously improve upon marketing strategies

Create and update sales materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentation templates, sell sheets, proposal templates, case studies
Sales Internship
The Sales Intern will identify brandsymbol business targets through account management and communications/interpersonal skills. This individual will work directly with executive leadership to develop his or her revenue generation skills through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and nurturing of relationships with existing and potential customers. The Sales Intern’s role is a unique opportunity that’s intended to professionally develop skills while providing a potential opportunity towards a successful career at brandsymbol.
Job Responsibilities

Research qualified leads and build the business pipeline through targeted outbound sales activity

Provide prompt phone & email follow up to all leads, properly documenting and tracking results

Identify potential customer needs and opportunities to specifically target with Sales & Marketing

Enter new data and update changes to existing data in the corporate salesforce.com database

Build and maintain strong knowledge base, becoming a branding an expert
